Best Shots – A Reflective Review

As this semester comes to a close, I get to have the great opportunity to reflect and go through what my favorite shots were from this semester. I feel like I have really grown a lot as a photographer and as a person as well. It was so interesting to me to see how much I have improved this semester in all of my shots. I have found that what I enjoy taking photos of the most are portraits and macro. I enjoy taking pictures of fine art and landscape as well and am looking forward to developing those talents more. I really love how much I can see a change from last year when I took the Digital Imaging course to now. So some steps I am going to take to increase my talents are to start taking my camera more places, try to expand what I already do by taking shots that stretch me. I am also going to keep working on my portrait shots and editing. One of the biggest things though that I am going to work on is not comparing my work to someone elseโ€™s. We all have different styles and talents. I need to develop and love my own. I mean, look at al the great work I have done semester! I believe that I shall be a happier individual as I do this, as well as become the photographer I want to be.

It has been such a blessing to take this class and to develop this talent and I look forward to taking more photos in the future and doing what I love.
