Still Life – Macro

When shooting Macro Photography it is important to get a good focus and be close enough to get all the details of your subject. For these photos I used my Macro Lens as well as a 21mm Macro Tube and a Ring Light. I didn’t realize how important having light was to Macro Photography. When I attached the ring to my lens I immediately saw a difference in the subject. It literally took the image to the next level. I was very impressed with the ring light and look forward to using it more in the future.

Macro Photography can be hard at times, but if you stick with it and are patient you will be able to get some really amazing shots. Remember to get clarity, detail and use light to your advantage. Here are a few of my favorite still life images that I was able to capture. I hope you enjoy!
